Dechreuodd Cymric y gêm yn wych pan ddaru Osian Pritchard sgorio ar ôl 2 funud. Rhoddwyd pwysau da ar amddiffyn Whitchurch a rhedodd y bel I Osian ac fe sgoriodd yn ddeheuig i gornel isaf y gôl o ochor y cwrt cosbi. Aeth Cymric ymhellach ar y blaen ar ôl 9 munud pan gymrodd Osian Pritchard gic rydd ar y dde a’i gyrru i’r cwrt cosbi ac aeth yn syth dros ben y golwr i gornel uchaf y gol. Cafodd Whitchurch eu cyfle cyntaf ar ôl 14 munud pan gafodd gic cornel ei phenio ond aeth yn syth at Dafydd Edwards yn y gol. Rheolodd Cymric gweddill yr hanner a mynd i mewn i’r egwyl ar y blaen o 2-0.
Dechreuodd Whitchurch yr ail hanner yn dda and nid oeddynt yn gallu ffeindio ffordd o dorri trwy amddiffyn Cymric. Aeth Cymric ymhellach ar y blaen ar ôl 52 munud pan ddaru Dylan Roberts bigo pêl lac fyny yng nghanol cae tua 30 llath o’r col a gyrrodd ergyd wych i gornel y gol. Ddaru Whitchurch drio bob dim i drio dod 'nôl mewn i’r gêm ond ddaru Cymric amddiffyn yn gadarn ac yn gryf i sicrhau nad oedd gan y golwr ddim i’w wneud. Roedd hon yn berfformiad gwych gan Gymric yn erbyn tîm da iawn.

Clwb Cymric started the match excellently as they took the lead after 2 mins. Some good pressure on the Whitchurch defence gave the ball to Osian Pritchard and he finished expertly into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. They went further ahead on 9mins when Osian Pritchard took a free kick wide on the right and it flew into the top corner. Whitchurch's first effort came on 14mins when a corner was flicked on but it went straight at the Cymric keeper. Cymric controlled the rest of the half and went into the break 2-0 up.
Whitchurch started the better team in the second half but all their possession couldn't break through the Cymric defence. Cymric extended their lead on 52mins when Dylan Roberts picked up a loose ball 30yds out and unleashed an unstoppable shot into the bottom corner. Whitchurch tried everything they could to get back into the match but Cymric defended resolutely and protected their goal to ensure their keeper had little to do. This was an excellent performance and victory for Cymric against a very good Whitchurch side.
