IMG-20170910-WA0016.jpg

Dechreuodd y gêm yn fywiog gyda dwy gôl o fewn y deg munud cyntaf. Trebanog aeth ar y blaen gan sgorio yn syth o'r gic gornel ond fe lwyddodd Cymric i ddod yn ôl iddi yn fuan wedi hynny.

Yn dilyn cic rydd Steve Cope o'r dde, fe beniodd Huw Owen y bêl yn syth i lwybr ei bartner yn yr ymosod, Dylan Evans, a lwyddodd i daro foli nerthol yn syth i gefn y rhwyd o 12 llath.

Gyda 35 munud ar y cloc, fe ffrwydrodd y gêm unwaith eto.

Roedd tacl hwy Tomi Gun wedi cythruddo ymosodwr y tîm cartref gymaint nes iddo golli ei limpyn yn llwyr ac ymosod ar Tomi, gan afael yn ei wddf.

Fe lwyddodd y timau rheoli ar yr ochr i lusgo'r ymosodwr oddi ar Tomi. Cerdyn melyn haeddiannol i amddiffynnwr Cymric, a cherdyn coch i ymosodwr Trebanog.

Dechreuodd Cymric reoli'r chwarae a dim ond mater o amser oedd hi cyn i'r ymwelwyr fynd ar y blaen gyda'r blaenwr bywiog, Huw Owen yn llwyddo i gipio'r bêl oddi ar y golwr a llithro'r bêl i gefn y rhwyd.

Roedd hi'n edrych yn addawol iawn i Cymric ar y pwynt yma, ond unwaith eto, roedd siom yn eu disgwyl unwaith eto.

Chwarae slac ar y llinell hanner yn caniatáu’r tîm cartref i dorri'n sydyn ac fe lwyddodd y cefnwr de, a oedd wedi canfod ei hun ymhell i fyny'r cae, i lobio'r bêl dros goli Cymric ac i gefn y rhwyd. 2-2 ar yr hanner.

Er gwaethaf yr anfantais o gael dyn wedi'i anfon oddi ar y cae, fe lwyddodd y tîm cartref i sgorio dwy gôl arall yn fuan yn yr ail hanner gan dynnu'r gwynt yn syth o hwyliau'r ymwelwyr, sy'n parhau i chwilio am eu pwyntiau cyntaf o'r tymor oddi cartref.

A lively start to the game saw two goals in the first ten minutes. Trebanog took the lead direct from a corner, with the ball being whipped in towards the back post with Llyr Davies on the Cymric line only able to head it into the roof of the net.

Cymric struck back immediately after a free-kick from Cope off the right was flicked by Huw Owen into Dylan Evans’ path who struck a cracking volley from 12 yards. 1-1.

The game settled down and both sides enjoyed periods of possession without creating any clear chances. However the game burst back into life after 35 minutes.

Tom Pritchard mistimed a tackle on the Trebanog striker but before the referee could even whistle for the free-kick, the Trebanog striker immediately got up, grabbing Pritchard around the throat. Pritchard did well not to react, and a combination of the Cymric and Trebanog personnel on the touchline managed to pull the Trebanog player off Pritchard and calm him down.

The referee did well to regain control and took the two players to one side. He showed a deserved yellow card to Pritchard, but had no option but to send the Trebanog striker - who had been their brightest player until then - off the pitch.

The additional man helped Cymric assert some control over the game and a goal was not long in coming.

An innocuous looking long ball from the Cymric defence was chased by the energetic Huw Owen and against all odds he managed to get to the ball at the same time as the Trebanog keeper. His challenge resulted in the ball falling into the box and Owen was able to get up and use his electric pace to get to the ball and pass the ball into the empty net.

Cymric were looking to maintain their lead into half time, but some sloppy play resulted in Cymric losing the ball in midfield. Trebanog quickly broke and played a through ball to the Trebanog right back who had found himself far up the field. He then finished with a delightful lob from 20 yards to make it 2-2 at half time.

The second half continued in the same vein, with Trebanog taking the lead immediately after the whistle. Again a misdirected pass from the Cymric backline was capitalised on by Trebanog with a counter attack resulting in a cross from their left falling to the Trebanog midfielder outside the box who looped the ball into the net.

Cymric dominated possession but failed to turn that possession into clear chances. Trebanog consolidated their lead with their fourth after a long free-kick into the Cymric box was not dealt with. The ball fell to a Trebanog player in the box who finished to make it 4-2. Cymric pushed for a goal to get back in the game but Trebanog were organised and limited Cymric chances and the game finished 4-2.
